Terms of Use

Effective date: August 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the C3RTA platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to any of these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

C3RTA is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for managing equipment inspection and maintenance records. The Service allows users to register assets, document inspections, track maintenance, generate certificates, and publicly verify records via QR code.

The Service is a documentation and workflow management tool. It does not perform physical inspections, determine regulatory compliance, provide engineering or legal advice, or replace the responsibility of the equipment owner, operator, qualified inspector, or licensed professional engineer.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal or fraudulent activities.
  • Enter false or misleading data into inspection or maintenance records.
  • Attempt to access other users' data without authorization.
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

5. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data in order to provide the Service.

6. Service Availability

We endeavour to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend the Service for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

C3RTA provides a structural framework for documenting inspections and maintenance. The platform does not: (a) verify the physical condition of equipment; (b) guarantee that any inspection meets local regulatory requirements; (c) replace the need for qualified inspectors or professional engineers; or (d) provide legal or safety advice. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, C3RTA shall not be liable for equipment failure, personal injury, property damage, or regulatory non-compliance arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease.

10. Contact

11. Legal Information Review

C3RTA's Product & Compliance Owner coordinates a review of this page, the Privacy Policy, and the Security page at least quarterly and before material changes are published. A qualified legal counsel reviews the change for each affected jurisdiction (the United States, Canada, or Mexico).

Legal review is required when data handling, payments, security controls, public verification, supported markets, customer obligations, or legal requirements materially change. Approved material updates are published with a new effective date and equivalent English and Mexican-Spanish wording.
